FG-50/2.DT.155 Fuel Guard Anti-Siphon Fuel Tank Inlet Security Lock is a professional fuel security solution developed to prevent fuel theft and unauthorized fuel siphoning from vehicle fuel tanks. Its specialized monoblock structure with an integrated strainer, installed at the fuel tank inlet, effectively prevents fuel siphoning via hoses.

Its high-quality aluminum body provides high resistance against impacts and external interventions. Thanks to specialized locking and mounting apparatus, it offers an unopenable security structure after installation. The engineering-focused strainer design does not interrupt fuel flow even during high-flow refueling and does not extend the filling time.

Fuel Guard product groups offer universal dimensions and vehicle-specific options for every brand and model of vehicle operating with diesel, gasoline, and fuel oil.

Installation Guide & Usage

STEP 1

1. Pre-Installation Preparation

IMPORTANT: Fuel Guard is a system integrated into the tank neck (filler neck) without altering the vehicle's original structure. Once installation is complete, the system takes on a "Non-Removable" security structure.

Safety: Pull the vehicle onto a flat surface and stop the engine. Strictly do not smoke or approach with open flame in the work area.

Required Equipment: 3 mm Allen key, Diesel-resistant liquid gasket or silicone, Fine-tipped screwdriver and light hammer, Cleaning cloth / Rag

Cleaning: Completely wipe dry any fuel residues and dust at the tank opening with a clean cloth.

STEP 1: Tank Opening Preparation and Insulation

Remove the existing tank cap and any old apparatus inside if present.
Critical Warning: Apply a thin line of diesel-resistant silicone to the tank neck surface to prevent fuel leakage and sweating.

STEP 2: Body Placement (Mechanical Lock)

Place the Fuel Guard body vertically onto the tank neck. Align the tabbed system with its slot; turn clockwise (to the right) to ensure the tabs fully lock onto the tank neck.

STEP 3: Fixing with Set Screw

Start tightening the 3 mm Allen head set screws located on the body. Tighten the screws reciprocally (diagonally) to ensure the body is perfectly centered. Make sure the screw heads are completely embedded into the recess.

STEP 4: Security Armor (Protective Ring) Application

Screw the Aluminum Protective Ring onto the main body to prevent the set screws from being unscrewed. Once the ring threads are seated, gently crush the ring threads at 3 different points using a fine-tipped screwdriver and a light hammer blow (Staking process). This process makes it impossible to remove the product via external interference.

STEP 5: Cap and Chain Integration

Attach the original or provided chained cap using the connection point on the product. Check that the cap closes smoothly and ensures a seal.

STEP 6: Functional Test and Approval

Flow Test: Verify a flow rate of 100-120 liters per minute by inserting the fuel pump. (The vented system prevents pressure buildup).
Security Test: Confirm that the strainer system (Anti-Siphon) does not allow passage by lowering a hose through the tank opening.
