Fuel Guard Float Probe (Level Sensor) Protection System
The Fuel Guard Float Probe (Level Sensor) Protection System is a professional mechanical and electronic security solution designed to protect the fuel level sensor area of heavy-duty vehicles (tractors, trucks, lorries, and light commercials) against unauthorized tampering and fuel theft.
Particularly in commercial vehicles, the float probe is located in an easily accessible position on the exterior of the fuel tank. This creates a significant security risk by facilitating driver-related abuse or external tampering. Fuel Guard has been specifically engineered to eliminate this risk.
Complete Set (Kit) Approach
Fuel Guard ensures fuel security through a holistic approach. Instead of focusing on a single point, it protects the fuel tank from end to end:
First stage: The fuel tank filler neck is protected with a strainer-equipped anti-siphon fuel tank lock.
Second stage: The float area, a frequent target for thieves, is placed under specialized protection.
Thanks to this integrated system, fuel theft carried out through the float is completely prevented.
Technical Structure and Security Features
The system is mounted directly onto the fuel level sensor (float probe) and features the following specifications:
1.5 mm Thick Special Serial-Numbered Steel Cable Seal System: It cannot be disassembled without breaking the seal; featuring an anti-removal design where tampering can be detected via the serial number.
Material Options: Plastic PVC or galvanized sheet metal.
High Durability: Superior resistance to impact, vibration, corrosion, and external factors.
Long-lasting Structure: Maintenance-free, rust-proof, and does not deform.
This design makes it physically impossible to siphon fuel through the float or interfere with the sensor.
Product Groups
Under-Strap Float Protection System: Positioned between the straps supporting the fuel tank, at the lower section of the tank.
Direct Float Probe Protection System: Mounted directly onto the float probe, preventing direct tampering.
The system is offered in two main variations:
Models with electronic alarms and warning systems (extra monitoring and notification features).
Fully mechanical security models (simple and durable protection).
